Advanced Digital Media-Project One-When I'm an Old Lady One Day

For this project I decided to be optimistic. The world made big changes, thanks to technology and the obvious need to change our ways. Not only do I live in New York, but New York has made some very important changes in the way things are done. I am wearing all recycled clothing, and there is paint is on my clothes because when I'm an old lady that's all I think I'll want to do. It is also very hot from the climate change, so I wear dresses everyday, and a beanie that has a self cooling system, thanks to technology. Although my hair is grey, I look pretty good for a 70 year old lady, thanks to modern medicine and technology, thank goodness. All cities are self sufficient, making their own energy and food. There is no litter because all bags are made of tapioca and breaks down in in two years. Each building runs from their own eco-friendly energy sources such as solar, wind or geothermal. The energy structures themselves are made from recycled materials so as not to mine any further. Cars are never used, as technology has helped solve this pollution by creating a complete subway system throughout the world from recycled cars. Every city grows their own food, hence the gardens, trees and vegetation.

Looking

There are many different ways to view the world. In this drawing, I tried to portray that even in black and white the smallest details change a scene entirely. When I paint or draw the detail sticks out to me, and that is what I hope the audience soaks up as well when viewing this work.

Ashley Kristina Rodriguez

This piece is for the beautiful Rodriguez family, a family that deserves all the happiness the world has to offer. This in hopes that they will never forget that Ashley is forever alive in our hearts although she is lost from our arms. I hoped to not only bring Ashley alive and encapsulate her beauty, but also make a piece that she would love.
